The problem

An Electron.js Windows desktop billing application storing data locally first, with background sync to Google Sheets. Billing, orders, expenses and cash management all live in one system, and the owner can check sales from a phone through a separate mobile-friendly dashboard.
Silent thermal printing
Direct thermal printing for bills and kitchen tickets with no print-preview dialog interrupting the counter.
Expense management
Categorised expenses with filters, pagination, CSV export and printable reports.
Cash drawer reconciliation
Denomination-based opening/closing counts with automatic expected-cash calculation and shortage/excess detection.
Soft delete with audit trail
Deleted bills, expenses and orders are never removed — they are flagged with a staff name and reason, and excluded from totals with a restore option.
